According to Forbes, the 3D printer market is expected to grow to $21 billion by 2030, an accompanying app that allows for seamless functionality of the printer has the power to make the utilization process easier and more effective. With a few quick taps, users have the ability at their fingertips to bring the printer to life to start their prints, pause them if needed, check the processes out along the way with the cameras and powering it off for the day. The app will also allow consumers to change print queues, downloading .stl files, saving .stl files, and receiving notifications. 

Initial wireframes for Workbench had fewer features. Designing the architecture of the app in this way allowed for me to add features as the idea of the app developed over time. Illustrative icons were chosen for their simplicity and clarity, four simple colors indicating the state of being active, canceling an action, and buttons.
